Hardware Diagnostics & Maintenance

Fotech DAS Hardware

If instead of opting for one of our year-round Service Plan  options you simply need one-off diagnostics, maintenance, or repair of your Fotech DAS sensing products we are here to help you.

We offer diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and support in the following areas:

  • Optical Hardware
  • Electronics Hardware
  • Computational Hardware
  • Optical Optimisation
  • System software recovery
  • System configuration recovery
  • Cable Connection Maintenance
  • General Annual Service requirements

We have vast experience (and highly rated customer satisfaction) for provision of care to deliver any requirements via a number of mechanisms and tailored services, including:

Remote System Diagnostics

Remotely connecting to systems anywhere in the world (internet connection permitting), to investigate suspected faults and report findings.

Remote connection can be provided via all the leading Remote Connection computer applications.

We offer a tailored package that incorporates connection preparation support, connection and system status evaluation and recording, fault investigation, and outcome reporting.

Your Diagnostics report will be delivered within three working days of establishing a successful remote connection.

Additionally, where possible within our standard diagnostics timeframe, any identified faults  will be fixed remotely.

Where it is not possible to rectify an identified fault within our standard diagnostics timeframe, our report will detail recommended follow-up action.

Remote Repair & Maintenance

At T2 we endeavour to help repair and maintain your Fotech system with the minimum of interruption, downtime and cost, for your benefit.

To this end, we always endeavour to resolve all identified issues via remote connection wherever possible.

If it is not possible to fix an identified fault within our standard diagnostics timeframe, but remote repair is possible, we offer our extended remote repair option.

On Site or Ship-to-T2 Repair & Maintenance

If it is not possible to repair your system remotely, we provide you with two options: Either onsite repair and maintenance or a Ship-to-T2 repair option via our RMA process.

With the onsite option a qualified and experienced site engineer will visit your facility to carry out all repairs and maintenance, providing the valuable benefit of minimising the time your important asset monitoring solution is offline.

Alternatively, with our Ship-to-T2 repair and maintenance option our team will take care of your system at our UK facility.

On arrival, your system will be taken through an Inspection and Status review service, before undergoing Operational testing, and (if applicable) Diagnostics Investigative testing. At this point, assuming the required services have already been agreed, your repair work will be completed by our qualified and experienced engineering team.

On completion, your system will finally undergo full functionality and operational testing at our Applications Test facility.

Finally, your Repair report will be prepared, delivered, and return shipping logistics fully managed.
